Great news everybody! The city of San Diego is going to be offering a professional certification class for expedited solar PV review through an online virtual training session. This program will allow eligible design professionals to obtain Solar PV installation permits without a FULL plan review (only applies to roof-mounted solar PV systems on a single family residence). The design professionals who wish to attend the virtual session must be either a licensed electrical or civil engineer, a California licensed B, C-10 or C-46 contractor. As of now there is no release date but the available slots are limited so if you are interested in attending you can get more information by emailing
